How bad is having sex while you're on period?

I shouldn't have done it but is it really that bad?

I have had sex on my period multiple times. It's not bad? It can actually help with cramps for some women and many women are hornier on their period. Of course I recommend only when your period isn't at its heaviest. And take precautions to avoid a huge mess.

I've had sex on my period almost every month with my ex when we lived together lol. It wasn't bad as long as you both don't mind. I was usually pretty horny and it helped my cramps. We would usually just put a towel down on the bed first or do it in the shower lol
