Do babies slow movements for growth spurt?

Do babies movements slow down when they are having a growth spurt? I'm 36 weeks today and baby is still moving about but not quite as hard as usual

I've also noticed a decrease in fetal movement when I am dehydrated and my amniotic fluid is lower.

Any change/reduction in movements should be reported. I went in for monitoring on Friday due to change/reduction of movement.

Baby is bigger, which means less room to move around, so yes you won't feel as hard of kicks or maybe as much because they're squished. Words from my doctor..

Possibly, but I dont think so because all throught pregnancy your baby is growing. So any changes in movement should be noted to your OB.
