It depends, are you finanally stable? Emotionally stable? Have a support system? Have a partner ready and willing to have a child? Do you have enough space for a child? 
All are things to consider.

Why do people think that's to young? I think that's a perfect time to be having kids honestly.

I think it totally depends on the person and their circumstances. I do think a lot of the people I personally see don't seem ready, mainly financially, but there are also a lot of people I know who were ready younger than your average person.

I had mine at 22. As long as you can create a stable environment and give everything you can to your child I don't see a problem. I don't think it's an age thing. Some people are older when they have kids and are still horrible parents. It's all what you make of it

I'm 22, 21 when I got pregnant (on purpose) and my husband is 21. My husband and I have our own home, we are married, we are financially stable, due to his income I am able to be a stay at home mom, we both have our own vehicles, we are emotional stable. Him and I talked about having a baby for a while before we actually started trying to make sure that it is something we wanted for sure and we are ready for. We are excepting our little guy next month!
