Is it weird to not have a bridal party?

I'm seriously considering not having any bridesmaids. I love my friends, but I really don't feel like they would make good bridesmaids. As weird as that may seem, it's how I feel.

I didnt have a bridal party. That's exactly how I felt. It was too much drama. Felt like it was no longer about my wedding day and more so about where they all stand in my life and who's closer to me and they all felt they should've been my maid of honor. It was just me my husband and our daughter at the alter. They still came and witness, well all except for one.

I didn't. My brother was my "bro of honor" and my husband had a best man. That was it and we have no regrets.

Both of my brothers never had a bridal party when they got married and it was nice. Nothing wrong with it. It's your day about you and your husband you do what you want and who cares what others think!!

I didn't have any! It made things a lot simpler, nobody's feelings were hurt,  the day was smoother (and I still had friends helping me get ready and with other things that bridesmaids WOULD do!) I think it's a unique take on a wedding as you don't see it often. Rock what you want, it's your day!

I got married 1 week ago today and I didn't have one. Granted we flew off and got married, and are still in, Barbados but yeah... As long as you're happy

You can do whatever suits you and your partner best. And no I don't think it's strange... Though you'll still need a couple witnesses for the marriage certificate.

I wish I didn't have any! Had my sister and she was diva enough for the two of us, let alone my mother! Wish we had eloped!
