Why am I surprised?

My stepsister is in middle school, in vegas it's 6-8 grade. She's in 6th, and she serves lunch to the 6th graders and eats with the 7th graders because of cafe training. She overheard a group of girls talking. One girl said she and her boyfriend are having sex and that she hopes she get pregnant. 7th grade your 12-13? I was shocked but I know I shouldn't be because some 6th graders do drugs and have sex. I told my stepsister not to follow that girl's steps cuz she'll struggle as a 12-13 yr old mom. She can't focus on the fun 8th grade or Senior activities. I slapped my stepsister's stomach and said that's what it feels like when a baby kicks(probably not) I just wanted to scare her. Lol.

When I was 17 (my baby boy was 10months) I went to school with a pregnant 11 year old (it was Lund. Not sure if they are called that around the country, basically houses and schools mothers) (I only went to school there). Things happen, rape is a real thing. Not saying she was raped but before everyone jumps on how disgusting this is, and how kids these days start young, sometimes it's not always their choice. And a lot of people are pro life regardless of how the baby was made.

Nine time out of ten the child she heard said was trying to appear cool. I went to school with many kids like this. Most of the time when you hear girls say that it's because they don't have love at home. So they think a baby will love them forever, meaning they will have a source of love. When I was in school U would be friend them and make them feel loved like they were nt own sister. That helped them to feel better. So don't judge them, just thank God you had love enough to not have to try and create a being to love you at that young of age. Also, sometimes things happen to teen girls even when they have enough love. Still don't judge them just show them the way. My cousin got pregnant at 13, she finished school and is now in college. So it can be done. But the point of my story is love your daughters, and other people daughters enough that they don't have to go searching for it. To be that better than blabbing about it on Glow or any other social cite.

My daughter rode the bus the first day of 9th grade and I said how was it? She was like fine I guess everyone is immature oh and the pregnant girl was on there to.. I just thought omg 14 and pregnant already wow, I always have the talk with my daughter so I just refreshed her memory about her future and to make good choices. So I totally get you.

When I was in 8th grade a girl in my class was pregnant. I was baffled because I hadn't even kissed a guy at that point lol. But we went on a field trip to an amusement park and she couldn't do anything. I'm pretty sure she dropped out as soon as she could in high school.
