Smell?

Does anyone notice a stronger smell coming from your vaginal area? I'm 6+1 and I've steadily noticed it over the past few days. It doesn't smell like a bacterial infection or anything. Just a stronger smell than usual. Am I crazy?

Someone else on here said the same thing too. It could also be our sense of smell is enhanced and it seems like the smell is stronger even though it might not be. I've noticed the same thing too.

I definitely can smell myself " down there" and have my entire pregnancy. No infections, nothing out of the norm. I talked to my doctor about it & she said it's common to sweat more down there. So I chalked it up to that. It's gross & annoying. I started wearing a thin panty liner daily to prevent my panties from being so gross& smelly. It has helped a ton.

I wouldn't be suprised with the change in hormones. They do crazy things to our bodies. Hopefully it'll get better for you :)

Me too! I've notice it 'down there', plus I've noticed my BO a lot more.. Sorry for the grimness 🙈 I have never struggled with BO but the last couple of days that's all I can smell and it's making me so paranoid! I can also smell candles and air freshers ridiculously strong when no one else can smell them 😂😂

My friend said her general body scent changed and didn't return to smelling like herself for a few wks after delivery. I just noticed the same thing myself. Could be related?

Yes, I notice more of a scent but I urinate so often and I struggle with leaking, I think it's from that. It's better when I wear panty liners for some reason. I also showers about 2x a day.

Going along with the other comments, also durring pregnancy your sense of smell gets waaay stronger even in the first trimester... it might be normal and you just smell it stronger.
