So I've been on the pill for a little over 2 years now and am just realizing now how much I hate it. I have been sexually active in the past, but got on birth control initially to help with periods. I haven't been sexually active recently and don't plan to any time soon, but would enjoy being on a birth control so that if I did decide to have sex I would be covered. I'm honestly not sure if my mom knows I've had sex or not, but im not too open to telling her. The problem with all of this is that my mom is a nurse at the doctors office I go to and im not sure if my mom is going to be in the room when talking about birth control options or not. I would rather not mention that I've been sexually active recently. Any tips or advice?
