Induction Stories?

I have an induction date set for the 20th but I haven't been given any information yet. 
As in how it'll all work, when I have to go in. Stuff like that. 
I was just wondering how it worked for you ladies who have been induced.

Your doctor should see you before that date to give you more info. Just make sure you do preregistration so you don't have paperwork shoved to you when in labor. Most of the time they will have you go in the morning, start you on pitocin within the hour and magnesium. I was induced with both my children...had to have my water broken the following day and within hours of that...pushing them out. My first I went in at 7am and had her the following afternoon at 230. My second, went in at 9am and had him the following day at 100 pm. All pregnancies are different... Good luck momma!

It really depends on your doctor.. Some start you on cerdavil at night to help ripen your cervix then pitocin the next morning to start contractions.

My doctor started me on a very low dose of pitocin the night we were admitted for induction with the hopes it would take until the next day/afternoon to have the baby. My body started progressing quickly so he stopped pitocin after 2 hours. I continued to progress naturally and had her at 4am the next morning!
