Nipple stimulation ?

Has anyone ever went into labor because of doing nipple stimulation ?

Meeee!!! I was kept overnight in labor and delivery because I was contracting. I was 36 weeks along. They gave me steroid shots to speed up the maturation of my sons lungs just in case. I was released the next morning after the contractions stopped. Fast forward two weeks and I'm now 5-6cm dilated. I was so uncomfortable. I went home. Took a bath and literally stimulated my nipples all night long. My ob appointment was the next day and they monitored me (because of GD) and noticed I was having regular, but small, contractions. They sent me to l&d again and wouldn't you know, I wasn't going home without a baby. I continued to stimulate while at the hospital which resulted in a beautiful baby boy just 7 hours later. If your body isn't ready to go into labor, nipple stim will not work. Just an FYI. good luck!
