She finally arrived

After 3 days of labor (and being 40+5), Billie Rose has finally joined our family. Went in on Friday with contractions about 6 minutes apart and lasting about 2 minutes. They did some tests and found her cord was wrapped around her head and thats why my labor wasnt progressing. Her heart rate was very very low during contractions, so we had to go into surgery right away to get her out. None of this was in my plan at all, It was really scary. But as soon as I heard her cry in that operating room, all the pain and waiting was worth it. She is 100% healthy and fitting right in at home already. Looking forward to being a mommy now!! Shout out to Womack Army Medical Center for all their support and for bringing my healthy baby girl into this world!
