Maternity Leave (working from home)?

Brittney

So, my boss and I discussed me wanting to be off for 6-8 weeks when baby comes in Nov, when I was first pregnant. He understood and said wed make it work that I'd be somewhat compensated while I was off for that time, or at least part of it. It is a tiny company and very laid back. My boss is pretty flakey on what he says though, so I always take it with a grain of salt.

We had some random changes to the company in the past months and I now, work from home. I do some accounting, customer service and administrative work.

This change was not due to pregnancy, it actually worked out well for my boss.

Anyway, so now that I'm working from home, is it wrong to still kind of want that 6-8 weeks maternity leave? Or at least some of it? Do any of you ladies work from home and expect to have maternity leave? You think its expected for me to work soon after baby because it's at home? I am due Nov 24th & I'm a little nervous that I sound nervy to even bring it up to him.
