Layers or Non-Layers?

Hey y'all! So I have naturally curly hair and I don't know which style is best for it. I've heard layers so you don't get the triangle head, I've heard no layers so it stays off the neck, and I've heard that it doesn't matter because you can't tell with curly hair. What are y'all's thoughts on this? (The picture is to show what type of curls I have to help with y'all's opinions)

I have hair like yours, except my waves are a little more tight than yours. Not by much all all though. I've had layers in my hair, but don't currently. Putting layers in your hair will definitely make if more floofy and bigger. It doesn't look bad though. I just chose to not have layers because it's a lot easier to fit all of my hair into a bun/ ponytail without them.

Your hair looks more wavy than curly with a lot of body so I would go for long layers.
