So me and my fiancé have recently split up because of how he has treated me through my pregnancy (down playing my pregnancy symptoms, telling me he's talking to other people while we was together, going on nights out until early hours of the morning and leaving me home crying) I've then caught him smoking weed recently in his flat (I'm very against weed and my baby's pram was in the flat smelling of weed) am I wrong stopping him from going to my 20 week scan? I wouldn't stop him from seeing his child when he's born but at the moment him being there just stresses me out as last time he came he just ignored me and I cried the whole way home.

Thats up to you but its his child too if he wants to go to the appts then you should let him take it as a learning how to be civilized with each other experience and step since you have a child together you are going to be in each others lives for at least 18-20 years dont keep him fron his child born or unborn out of spite

Stress is not good and I know for a fact the baby knows and feels it. This pregnancy is yours. You are the one that is going to give birth. If it causes you stress try to avoid anything involving him until the baby is born. The last thing you need is high blood pressure and complications due to stress related issues. You said it yourself you have no intention of keeping your baby away from him. That is a really good thing it means you are not closing him out. It is just outside of your comfort zone for now. I hope everything goes well.

I wouldn't let him go it's your choice the scan isn't to entertain the parents anyway it's to check the baby and the stress of him there can have a negative impact on the baby.

I would drive separately but I'd let him go. He's never going to be able to have that moment again if you don't let him go

No you're not wrong it's your pregnancy and you need to be stress free. If he's not supporting you through the pregnancy, he don't need to be there at your appts. I did it to my husband at one appt because my story similar he wasn't connecting with me and the baby and it was stressing me out until he got his act together.
