Nitrous Oxide for pain management

I don't see any mamas mentioning gas for pain management. Has anyone used nitrous during labor and/or delivery? Were you able to successfully manage your pain with it and not use any IV meds or an epidural? Has anyone used only gas during an induction? Please share your experiences! I'm considering nitrous for my induction since I can no longer have a water birth and I want to avoid an epidural or IV meds.
