Practitioner forcing me to go till 42 weeks because of scheduling

I failed my nst test I begged to be induced I was told point blank they only induced 3 women a night and the earliest they can do it is the 18th for scheduling reasons.. things happen people get booked up I get it, but refer me to a different hospital! Do something! who's responsible if something happens to this baby, or me?! Really why don't they care. If I was 38 weeks and being impatient it would make sense I am 40weeks 5days! He is measuring 43" very big already. I don't know what to do I'm losing it.
