They really want me to put this in my self every day! Lol my mom just kept saying "it's so big don't ask me to do it for you I couldn't do it its to big". I'm not absorbing the progesterone suppositories like I'm supposed to and this will be my first month on progesterone in oil. Super freaked out about this

The 18 gauge needle is just to mix it. The skinnier needle is for injection.

You can do it! I'm one week away from the end of 10 weeks of PIO shots. Even had to do a few of them myself while traveling. They're not comfortable, but you'll become a pro. 👏

I thought the same thing when I first saw it. Was like how in the ___ am I going to do that lol. Easier if you have someone do it for you. Make sure they spread the skin apart and I do ice before and heat afterwords. Most important part is to rub it after words to move it around so you don't get swollen. Good luck you got this!!

I know what you mean...Im due to start my PIO injections sometime next week if all goes well w mymonitoring  appointment.

I'm hoping that those big needles are for drawing up the progesterone. Ha

Hi Kayla, omg I thought I was the only one. I freaked the hell out when I saw the needle😭. I'm a very strong person and can handle any pain but this part of IVF has been hard for me. I told myself I did injections in my stomach for two weeks so it should be a piece of cake, let me tell you it's been hard even with the 22g needle. It hurts!!! Hubby's gotten better at doing it fast so I don't feel any pain while he injects but my behind is very sore even after heating it and rubbing it in. I'm just one week into it lol God be with me for the next 10 weeks God willing I get pregnant. Good luck 💕🙏🏻

When I got mine in the mail I cried!!! I am super afraid of needles! But these don't hurt me at all! Make sure you put heat on it right after you do it. And rub it. It will be a little sore but the the stick doesn't hurt me at all. I'm a teacher and my school nurse does them most of the time but on the weekends my husband does them. It's cake. Just do a quick stick and you can hardly feel it!
