contraceptive implant and cancer??

I've just been told by someone who isn't the most reliable source that the contraceptive implant has been linked to cancer? Is this just a myth or is it true??

There is a link yes, that does not mean that the implant itself causes cancer. In fact, there is no evidence that it does.

Coincidence does not equal causation.

It just means that because women who use birth control more often go to the doctor, so cancers and such are picked up earlier than they would be otherwise.
