How would you feel? *update

Question

Your dating someone and they won't let you meet their child yet their ex before you (also not the mother) still gets to see the kid and spends time with the kid as if she was the mother . (The mother and her are not close or friends just cordial) he(my bf) sometimes picks the child up from the mother then cordinates pick up times for the ex to get the child, Yet after 2 years of talkin and now recently serious dating. I still have yet to even met his child. (No the previous ex was not around the child since birth) I don't understand? 
*******He was with his ex when I met him ending things. So we weren't dating just hanging out but they are officially broke up he moved  out and all I get to see pictures and hear stories but I have yet to meet the child yet she gets to take him out of town and she gets him Off to school on the days my bf is suppose to have him and she was even there for the first day of 1st hr to get him off to school. She is not his step mom they aren't even dating anymore it makes me so mad

How would I feel? Id be pissed and probably end the relationship. If he doesn't want you around his child, it seems like there is something he's hiding. Just my opinion

Before you get angry or start having hard feelings, think about what's in the best interest of the child. If this ex gf was around him all the time, it may not be a good idea for her to just up and disappear from the child's life. Since his ex is so obviously close to the child maybe the father doesn't want another woman introduced to the situation. Maybe he realizes that was a mistake to have his previous gf so involved in his child's life and doesn't want to make the same mistake with you. Right now the focus should be on getting to know you better with the goal of introducing you to his son.

I have a step daughter I have only seen once but it's a hole different situations, it's because her mom doesn't want us to have custody. That's a working progress but your situation doesn't sound right. How long have you been dating?

The ex being around the child sounds very fishy & a whole other can of worms that I don't even wanna open.. I have my own theory on this whole situation but that's not really what you asked & I could be way off.

Also I don't know what "talking for 2 years" means necessarily because that is different for everyone, and saying "recently dating seriously" is a very relative statement. Could mean dating for 2 weeks; could be a few months. IDK.

But I can tell you that my brother, who has a 2.5yr old, didn't introduce his son to his current girlfriend for at least 2 months of them dating. I think it would have been fine even if he had waited longer... kids are a huge deal and most parents want to make sure that the person they're seeing is "good enough" to meet their child. Not to say you may not be "good enough", just that he could be very cautious about who he introduces to his kid. I don't see it as a huge deal, unless you had been dating for more than like 7-8months, which it does not sound like you have. Either way, if it bothers you, just ask him about. It should be something he's willing to talk about with you.
