FTM bleeding in the night

I'm scared out of my mind at 9 +3. I woke up at 2am to use the bathroom last night and when I wiped there was blood. Bright red blood. And there was so much! I panicked, and screamed for my husband. He is absolutely the best and kept me calm as we got dressed and headed to the hospital. They did an ultrasound and we could still see baby snuggled in happily with a good strong heartbeat. And they checked my HcG levels and said they were "normal." I didn't get a number. By the time we got home the bleeding had slowed down to barely spotting and the blood turned brown. The most terrifying experience of my life. I'm on bed rest until I hear back from my doctor about coming in earlier than my scheduled appointment.
