however long you want to. they recommend 2 years now at the WIC office to me but I doubt I will do it that long. I am wanting to go a full year (almost 4 months strong right now) but will stop if my daughter wants to stop before then. I will say though I'm definitely not stopping until she's eating actual foods because while she will eat formula she much prefers breast milk and I think if I just switched her to formula only she would have a very rough time with it.
