How do you know if baby is breech?

I'm 31 weeks and haven't had an ultrasound since 20 weeks. At that time the tech mentioned that the baby was breech. I know that doesn't really mean anything at that point but I don't know if/when I'll have another ultrasound and am wondering how my doctor will know if my daughter is still breech when the time comes?

When you go in to your prenatal appointment they touch your stomach to know where the baby's head is. I am also 31 weeks and I was told that my baby is head down.

I was told apparently they can feel your stomach and know and if there is any question they will do an ultrasound.

It's pretty easy to tell by feeling... A bit harder if you are a larger person. At my 28 week appointment they asked me if I could tell, and I said I think baby is head down because I could feel his skull by my pubic bone. And they confirmed it. I got a ultrasound yesterday at a 3D place and it was really funny to see the baby exactly positioned how I thought... By movement and feeling... He is head down butt to my right, hands in fists by his face and feet flat against the left side of my uterus... I can feel him push against my left uterine wall when he extends his legs lol!

Ya they can tell. My midwives helped my partner and I feel the whole body at my last appt- 28 or 29 weeks. It was awesome! I wish I could tell, I think I can but not totally sure.

They can tell by manipulating your stomach. My chiropractor said she's head down. I won't get anymore ultrasounds either.

I got to feel my daughters head a few days ago 😊 just ask at your next appt. I'm 31+4 and she's head down.
