Baby not head down?

Question

I'm 32+3 weeks and my ob checked my cervix today. She kind of sound surprised and says "Ohh.." then tells me she couldn't feel the baby's head and that if he's not head down by my next appointment I'll need an ultrasound. What does this mean? Anyone else's baby wasn't head down? I mean I still have a few weeks left..is he necessarily supposed to be head down already?

*I know these are questions I should have asked my doctor but I wasn't really thinking about it at the moment.

I think they have until 36 weeks to flip head down before they start to actually get too concerned. I will be 32 weeks on Sunday and baby boy is still constantly moving and flipping and is still side-to-side or from right rib to left hip many times so I think they just enjoy moving around as much as they can while they have the room :)

It's okay that baby isn't head down yet, try spinning babies in an attempt to get baby to flip! You've got plenty of time though, my son didn't flip until 38 weeks.

I'm almost 35 weeks n my baby's head is really far down.  He's ready to come out anytime now. Contractions off n on. Pray he stays just a little bit longer. He's 5 pounds n healthy.
