What can I take to prevent a cold while pregnant? UPDATE!

Question

3 year old has running nose looks like he has a cold coming on. What can I take to help me to not get sick? Already taking prenatals.
Zicam or Air born? Extra vitamin C? Nothing?
Last pregnancy I got a cold and it lasted 16 weeks so I am really paranoid about getting a cold right now!
Update- Airborne and Zicam are a no go during pregnancy!
Anyone have home remedies that actually work for fighting or preventing colds?

I use essinatal oils for everything. I use young living products, they are a little spendy but 100% worth it. If you can get you hands on some "theives" oil it's a life saver, if helps prevent sickness and kill germs! the hospital I am delivering in actually uses this line of oils also! It's great stuff!

K ladies guess I should have just looked it up. Both zicam and airborne are a no go during pregnancy!

A few dr have said airborne was ok but there are more posts saying not to.

Looks like home remedies for me! I can already feel the mucus thickening, yuck!!!

Don't touch your face, especially your mouth, without washing your hands if you've been out in public.

Washing your hands as much as possible before you eat etc. honestly is very big. Next stay extra hydrated, drink vitamin c and take a little extra.  And when ever I feel a cold coming on in not sure if you have ever used a Netty pot but it works wonders. When I was pregnant I used it frequently to flush out my nose and it kept me from getting sick and I work in a hospital. Good luck.
