I say change it because I think it's cutting it close to finishing the nursery and you might be too exhausted with being THAT pregnant.

I would just make sure you aren't relying on the necessaties from the shower. By then you should have your bags packed and car seat ready.

I'm due on February 15th and am planning for a shower mid January. My first baby was exactly two weeks early so I'm hoping for the same this go round lol

I'm due 2/14/17 as well with our first, our shower will be in early November. I don't want to interfere with anyone's family plans around the holidays and want to be comfortable at my shower. I'm too paranoid that baby could come early and if I wait I won't have enough time after the shower to get essentials that are needed.

It all depends on when you have your baby.  I always go right near my due date, so it would have been fine for me. First time moms usually go later rather than earlier, but not always. If you end up having your baby maybe you can postpone it for a short time and do a "sip & see".

My first son was due may 3rd 2014 and I had my baby shower April 13th and I regret it so much! He was born April 30th. And with everything I got and had to sort through I had wished I had it at least a week sooner. Setting up the last of the nursery became stressful between the back pain, and bending over etc. I think you should have it one week sooner. Remember, when you're 37 weeks along you won't be able to touch your feet without a struggle! My husband had to clip my toenails for me! Lol
