How much spit has to be transferred to get an std? I had a soda and someone sipped off of it and I forgot later and was bitting on the straw could this give me a std?

Don't listen to that stds arnt in spit you can get hep  and hpv  hopefully the person doesn't have anything

STDs aren't contracted through spit, that's why they're called sexually transmitted diseases. They can be transmitted through blood or bodily fluids such as semen but spit won't affect you

STD's are generally spread through fluids such as semen or vaginal discharge. However, there are a few that you can get through spit (though I'm not sure if they're actually considered STDs)... Mono and meningococcal
