My husband had two kids with his at the time girlfriend. Long story short she suffocated the youngest and went off the deep end and we got primary custody. Every they had for the boys was already second hand and stained and hasn't been cleaned in over 2 years because he hasn't wanted to touch it he just wants to start fresh with his baby.

He understand its my first and like most new moms I want things new anyways. My MIL won't stop trying to get me to re use the things we are getting rid of and constantly is bugging me about car seats and cribs her friends are giving away. She's 8 hours away so it's cheaper to buy it here anyway. She thinks I should use everything down to her nursing bras because their free. We make 70k put together I can afford my own things. She's just driving me up a friken wall!

If its not her wanting me to use this woman's crap it's her bugging me about how she's worried the oldest kid is going to hate and not connect with the baby so I need to spoil him?
