water birth anyone???

Are any of you moms having a water birth at home with a midwife team?? I've been researching that more moms like the idea of a home water birth without the epidural.. I'm a first time mom. What are some inspirational ideas to do? I also heard the epidural slows the process down. Is this true?? I need help

I am! I have a team of 3 midwives and will be doing a home water birth, all natural. Hopefully everything goes as planned.

I ended up having an emergency transfer to the hospital, but that was my plan. I still went natural. It's totally doable and I labored in my tub at home until we had to go to the hospital. The warm water helped sooooo much. You do kinda get to a point for a while where for a while nothing helps honestly. But then you get through that phase and it's pretty much time to push. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask. 🙂
