My baby is 1 week old. It's been the best week and the most challenging week of my life. She won't let us put her down. She screams bloody murder. Even to change her. I feel awful. In order for her to sleep it had to be in our arms. I haven't gotten any sleep really since we've been home. If we put her down in the bassinet, swing, or pack and play it has to be when she's fully asleep even then it's only for 20 minutes. If we have her in our arms she's able to sleep for 2-3 hours before she needs to be breastfed again. Any suggestions? Will she grow out of this strange?
