Questions relating to inuction!

Taya • Mommy to Bronx and baby A on the way!🎈🍬💙🐣
With my first i went in the night before getting the pitocin in order to get the cervix sophtener stuff. They gave me that and told me I should get some sleep. They came in every few hours to check me. However I remember they would not let me move because they were monitoring the baby and if I moved they'd lose his heart beat. At the time I didn't know that I didnt have to have constant monitoring of the baby's heart beat as long as baby is healthy and heart beat isn't dropping or anything. But I remember they were monitoring my contractions as well with something. But I don't remember if that is something that stops you from getting up and out of bed or from like laying on your side and stuff??? I just wanna know if I'm gonna be able to get up and change position and stuff so I can try no epidural. If not I'm just gonna get it when I do start having pain.. anyone else who has been induced HEEELPPP hahah I just wanna know what I'm getting myself into.. I never got the pitocin with my son either I started on my own that night
