What size does newborn 7-8 lb baby wear?

Newborn? 
Preemie?

My 8.12 son could wear preemie in the hospital. Fit great! I always suggest taking 1 preemie outfit to hospital. And my last one wore newborn clothes for almost 3 months. So I bought plenty of newborn this go round so I don't have to go shopping when this one is 2 months old and buy more. If it doesn't bother you that the clothes are big you'd be fine with some newborn and mostly 0-3. But I prefer my babies have clothing that fits.

0-3 months I would say. I think the newborn stuff doesn't fit for very long, especially if you aren't having a small baby. Always safer to buy on the big side :)

My son was 6lb 8oz and he was swimming in his newborn outfit on the way home.. He's always been a peanut though. He's now 3 and just fitting into 2T well 😜

Depends on the brand. Some will be NB and others will be 0-3 months.

Probably newborn, however also depends on length of baby!  When I had my daughter she was in premmie baby tops until she was atound a month old but 0-3 trousers when she was born as she was so long!
