I know people who did. 
One lady did after adopting 8 kids. After the last adoption was finalized she found out she was pregnant after being told it would never happen for her. 
Second woman had a battle with cervical cancer and beat it and was told that if she wanted to try for kids she'd have to do invetro. She's 35 with a 2 yr old now without having to do anything but have sex and she's TTC again. Both of those women waited 15 yrs to get pregnant and never thought it'd be possible. 
I also know someone who tried for 5 yrs and got pregnant out of nowhere, it happens,

My mom did! She was told she couldn't have kids and then got preggers with my brother. They waited 7 years after that and had given up on having another baby and I decided to make my way.
