Got fired from work!
So ladies I really need to vent! I want your all's opinion. So two days ago the doctor wanted to send me for blood work, they thought that I could've had G/diabetes. So I went to work I explain to my boss the matter of the situation and that I needed the next day off. She told me that was fine but where I am a manager I had to contact my district manager and confirm it with him, so that's what I did. I told him that I could not come in the next day because my appointment was at 11 and I would probably be there until four and my shift started at 12, he agreed and told me to bring a doctors note. So skip onto the next day, I was at my doctors appointment whenever my boss texted me at 12:30 asking where I was, I told her I was at the doctors office that we talked about this, she told me that she didn't approve for me to miss work, that she only agreed to let me go early. Please keep in mind that my appointment was at 11 and I have to be at work at 12, there's no way possible that that could even work. So my district manager calls me and he tells me to leave my appointment and go straight to work, so that's exactly what I did. I went to the house went to get ready, called my district manager and told him that I was putting in my two weeks that I was moving to Kentucky in about a month but I would work to the best of my abilities to do my job the next two weeks. So after all of this, after my boss called me alarm and nine talking to me, after my district manager calling and cussing me out, after leaving my baby doctor appointment just to go to work he tells me never mind it that I'm fired, that he wasn't the one who got me pregnant and it's not his problem.
I get the fact that I'm a manager, but my my child's health comes first.
I really loved my job but I'm very relieved that I'm out of the situation and then I can focus more on my child. My husband makes very good money so financially this isn't an issue it just bothers me because to me I did nothing wrong
