super gluing a bleeding nipple?

It keeps getting ripped back open and I don't know what to do 😷

I had painful bleeding nipples for a couple of weeks, and it was torture! I almost gave up. By the end of week 3 I was over the hump.  I would put coconut oil on breast shields and then hold ice packs on them for about 5 or 10 minutes as often as I could. During the worst of it, I would use a little neosporin, just make sure to wash the area before latching baby next time.

I would say 100% no to anything like superglue.  1.) Baby is sucking on that! You don't want that in their mouth.  2.) Blocked ducts are worse than bleeding nipples(trust me. I had that problem, too) and can lead to mastitis.

I'm by no means an expert here, but I did just go through this so it's fresh in my mind.  Good luck!!!

Super glue sounds like a bad plan. It'll block ducts, potentially rip things worse, 😬 eek. I had a chunk ripped out of my nipple (got stuck to a breast pad and stupid, overtired me just decided to rip that bad boy off. Big mistake.) I was missing a chunk about half the size of my pinky nail and had a hell of a time healing it. What finally worked for me was LC recommended Medi Honey ointment. I got it over the counter from the pharmacy. It's medical grade honey so it is safe for baby to ingest. You apply it after each feeding, and cover the nipple with a non stick bandage pad to keep from an adhesion forming. I had that cut for 9 weeks before trying this stuff, and then it healed in less than a week. Could be worth a try?

No idea about that... But try nursing more often. My nipples always felt way better when baby wasn't really hungry when she nursed - I got a better latch and a gentler auction.
