What to expect for fertility consult?

Hello ladies! I'm 33 and TTC #1, I went off bc in February when we got married. My cycles have been irregular since then, I'm only getting a period every 5-8 weeks. I have an appointment on Monday with my OB for a fertility consult (she is not a specialist). I am wondering what I should expect at that visit? Bloodwork at a minimum? I was tracking everything religiously in Glow for about 5 months, but the last few weeks I've felt so discouraged that I just quit tracking and using the app all together. I haven't had a period since August 1 (taken two pregnancy tests- BFN each time). Any insight into what to expect for this first visit would be helpful. Thanks!

Applauding you for taking this step. It's a hard step to make. 
I first talked to my GYN during my annual appt. after TTC for 5 mo. He referred me to a fertility specialist at 6 mo. and I waited until the 7th because I was nervous and a little scared. 
My first appt. with the specialist was just talking and filling out forms about my SO and my personal and family health history, exercise regimen, medication history, mental health, diet, etc. There was no bloodwork or procedures the first appt. for me. 
The specialist ordered blood workups and genetic testing for me and SO, semen analysis for SO, day 3 sonogram, and HSG. Follow up appt to discuss results on Monday. I booked the blood work right away but the remaining tests needed to wait until my next cycle started. It's been 10 months TTC for our first now. I'm 37.

You can probably expect blood work that would occur day 3 of your next period. That will give them some baseline information. My Dr. also asked a lot of questions about my history and my mom's history such as when she went through menopause, etc. Remember, you can always ask for a referral to see a specialist as well if you want further answers!
