how do I not get my hopes up?

After a miscarriage last month we got a BFP day before yesterday! How do I not get excited Incase it ends in heartache again?

Hun, nothing is wrong with getting excited and hopeful for every pregnancy. You can be excited as you want! If you can be, please do so. My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and I got pregnant a few months later. I was excited but I had no symptoms and so it was hard to connect to the baby before I started getting big.

Please enjoy this pregnancy. Don't try to not enjoy your pregnancy just because you are afraid of heartbreak. All aspects of life have the chance of horrible outcomes by if we go through life trying to protect our hearts from all the possibilities, we will never enjoy the beautiful and amazing experiences along the way.
