Why does it smell down there!😔

My vagina has been rather smelly lately. Not fishy,just stinky. I shower every day,and use dial antibacterial soap and mostly just a good spray of water when cleaning down there.

Last night we had sex,he came inside me,and afterwards his dick smelled so bad! What gives??
I feel like he throws my PH balance off,and we just don't mix well,lol.
What can I do?

Don't use antibacterial soap. It's killing off the good bacteria most likely. Use a mild soap, maybe something pH balancing. Your vagina does a good job self cleaning anyways and managing it's pH so long as you aren't doing things like using antibacterial soap.

Use the odor blocking vagisil, take a probiotic and cranberry pills everyday. That should help clear up that weird smell. Trust me, I've dealt with enough down there.

I recommend getting some summers eve. I use it and LOVE IT! You don't actually wash in your vagina with it but around the outside. Your vagina is self cleaning so water is fine. :)

Antibacterial soap is the worst thing you can use down there. It will kill bacteria that it shouldn't & will throw your ph off balance. Try Dove Sensitive soap bar or Vagasil.

The soap is the issue. Please try to get a vag soap or use plain old ivory. Also pick up some probiotics for vaginal health. VH essentials makes one that includes cranberry. And if that doesn't help after a couple of days call your doctor for an appt and tell them you think you have an infection. They'll check you and if you do they'll prescribe a week long round of antibiotics for you. I've been in your boat. I suffer with BV from time to time and it's not fun. Also quite embarrassing when your having adult time with your SO

Don't use soap or cleaners down there period. Just water. That's what the doctor told me. Soap throws your ph off. Drink cranberry juice too. Keeping soap away has been the best thing ever
