chorioamniotic separation?

I am just turning 18 weeks, and two days ago found out that my amnio and chorion never fused together. Wondering if anyone else had this problem?

I havent experienced this but i googled it and found a study about it. Here is the link

Basically said that the most concerning issue is amniotic bands that can wrap around the cord or baby. I believe it mentioned that it one case, nothing happened but other cases required fetal surgery.
