We told them we wanted to wait but they didn't. I think they forgot because everything got crazy really fast as I was delivering (baby's heart rate plummeted). Baby's fine so I guess not a big deal.

I wanted to wait, as well as do skin to skin, but the cord was too tight around his neck and had to be cut immediately.

We waited 33minutes with my daughter but she had to go to the NICU so we had to cut it at that point... hopefully next baby we can wait a while longer
