I'm two days late, but I've been experiencing cramps for the past three days. My boobs are also really sore and slightly larger than usual. I have an active sex life, but the last time that I had sex was the end of August, so I took a pregnancy test last night and it came back negative? This is weird.

It's likely you are taking your test too early (if you are pregnant). If you don't get your period in a week you should retest. Many pregnancy and pms symptoms overlap and a pregnancy test is usually the only way you can differentiate between the two
