tampons?

Question

So I'm currently 15 and have never used a tampon as I'm scared it will get stuck up there or something? I feel as it's a lot more hygienic. Please drop opinions and advice , have often will I have to change it and stuff like that x

Don't worry it won't get stuck up there. Your vagina isn't a vacuum 😛
How often you change it depends on your flow. I can sometimes go the full 8 hours without changing it whereas other times I have to after like 4 hours. It all just depends but you are welcomed to change it as often as you want just know that you don't have to and if it's dry when you pull it out it's going to hurt a bit so...Yeah. 
There really is nothing to be scared of about them though. They make the whole period experience so much easier to handle. When I used to use pads I was always scared to go to sleep overs or wear certain clothes but with tampons those fears just don't exist.

As a lifeguard, they are personal lifesavers! I normally try not to go more than 6 hours, but early on in my period it needs to be changed more often. The first time I used one I was terrified, but with repetition, you don't think twice about it. Try to find a kind with a plastic applicator, as it makes things much easier. Start with smaller sizes and find what works best. Best of luck!

It should not get stuck. I have been using tampons for many years now and have never had that issue. I will say that it will feel uncomfortable at first since you are not use to having something stuck up there, but it will be fine. Also, remember to change a tampon much more often then you would a pad.
