Acne and baby's gender???

Question

I've had perfect skin in the beginning of my pregnancy, I'm now 11 weeks and suddenly have acne.. I know weeks 10-12 the baby starts developing ovaries or testes and hormones change. Does increased acne at this point mean girl or boy?? (Old wives tale I'm sure, but share your experience)

Thanks ladies! I'm kinda hoping for a boy! Lol.. I know the old wives tale is that girls steal your beauty, but I've also heard acne that starts at 10-12 weeks and not right away it's from the testosterone starting to produce.

I never had a breakout until I got pregnant. My skin got so bad that I was sure I was having a girl. We just found out Thursday that it's a boy! None of the wives tales were correct for me.

I had horrible acne prior to being pregnant. I'm having a boy and my skin has cleared up DRASTICALLY. My hair has just gotten darker and growing faster (facial hair, armpit hair etc 😂)

The increased acne at that point is because the placenta takes over hormone production from the ovaries at about 12 weeks.

I have 3 boys and each time my skin was super clear. Old wives tale that a girl will steal mommas beauty :)
