I hinted it to my man when we first confessed we liked each other. But I didn't explicitly say it until we were making out. My man stopped and I almost thought he'd break up with me he was so surprised. He then made sure I wanted to do it and wouldn't have sex with me unless I verbally told him I did, so it worked out. But I'd say the sooner the better so you don't have that information throw things off when you're getting frisky.
