did birth control help your acne?

So I'm 16 and have not severe acne,but pretty moderate and I was wondering if birth control has helped anyone clear up their acne?

Yess! It made it a little worse but after a couple months it was so clear.

Yes! I had your problem. My doctor put me on a low dose of birth control called Lessina and it helped a good bit. Although I still did break out a little during my period. But if you miss some pills like I seemed to a lot you could break out some. It takes about 4 months to clear it up a lot. (That's what he told me)
