Is it fair for those born and raise in America to cry unfairness and disadvantage when there are many immigrants who literally started from the bottom and worked their way to the top?
I understand there are some people who are genuinely disadvantaged and cannot work but it's 2016, there's no excuse. My parents spoke maybe 5 words of English when they fled their war torn country for this one and now own multiple properties and businesses, purchased their first house just 4 years after moving here, worked their asses off to provide for me and my 2 siblings and have raised us to do the same for our kids even though we're well off. So help me understand why people who are already many steps ahead are struggling to make a living?
I don't mean for this to offend but I'm just confused.
