birth control worries

Does birth control give a false result on a pregnancy test? I am really worried about getting pregnant. I take my birth control every day around 9:30 or 10pm. I know that there is a small failure rate with birth control pills and just wondering if anyone has any advice that could alleviate my worries? Thank you guys
