I think it's a maturity thing really.

personally, I didn't do it til I was eighteen. and wound up marrying the guy I slept with. I wouldn't want it any other way.

BUT I think as long as you're educated, safe, and mature enough to handle a sexual relationship, go for it.

I do know many people who weren't mature enough when they started having sex/dating and they still don't know how to be in a proper relationship because they don't know anything but sex and butterfly feelings..

it really depends on the person.

Think of it this way at what age would you feel comfortable raising a child on your own. Children are always a possibility. Nothing is 100% I know plenty of people who have gotten pregnant on the pill and I got pregnant with a condom that didn't break and had a miscarriage. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Tbh any age under 16. I feel as though we dont understand the risks associated with having sex until after that time.

To me it's anyone in middle school and below. I know A LOT of ppl who lost their virginity in high school. But really I think it has more to do with maturity than age... like can that person mentally handle sec and the possible consequences that come with it.
