My fiance has had to borrow large amounts of money from this year I recently let him move in with me nd had to pay his part of the rent a couple of times, im a part time working full time college student i need my money but his response was were in a relationship your suppose to help not get paid back, like thats crazy to me i always pay him back without him asking

lol I can see where you're coming from. I think it's based on how your relationship is set. In my relationship we don't borrow money. What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine. If one falls short the other one steps up no problem. Trying to keep up with who owes what is a unneeded headache for me lol.

I guess I'm the minority party here. I say no, but then again my boyfriend and I pay for everything together. We have separate bank accounts. But we also have a joint savings account at a totally different bank to pay for OUR rent, OUR car.

A relationship should be a give and take on both ends.  My fiance and I spend random amounts of money on each other (In terms of restaurants and going to the movies... Or concerts.  ) I help him with gas.  He helps pay for my GED tests.  You both support each other. It's how it goes.  If you truly love someone you shouldn't expect an amount back unless it's important.

That being said,  if he agreed to help pay rent or bills,  then he should keep true to his word.  If not, show him to the door

Depends on the relationship. My current husband I have paid a few things for him while we were dating (actually had to do it secretly then tell him after because he never wanted to use my money) but I would never in a million years think of asking for the money back. But that's just us.

Not anymore. I dated this guy and he had a job, but somehow never had money. Went with him to pick up his new truck and I ended up giving him $1500 for it. He used that same excuse as yours did. Then he got all cocky about himself and his new truck and said "F u b*tch I ain't paying you back." I ended up getting out of that relationship and I will NEVER loan any of my money to anyone.

The guy I'm with now, we live together and he pays for pretty much everything. I'm looking for a job to help out. We're eventually gunna get married one day and I think that's ok.

Last year he was hard hard up with his job, I had a great paying situation so I helped and he didn't have to!
Little different this year, now he's making way more than me, so now like if I have to pay a bill we usually split he does pay me his half just a lil later.

I have had one live in Fiancé in the past. You need to discuss your feelings, also if your are the bread winner make sure he is not using you to save on the side for himself for his own personal Benifit(s). I put mine through school by paying more than him. He meet someone else and used his savings to move out. Budget with him and start tracking his spendings if you have to. No lady nor woman should should support a man financially unless it temporary or he's a Stay at Home Dad. (My opinion) Love will do this, in either case, just make sure you do not put yourself in a bad money situation and loss your hard working money!
