Did provera and then birth control help you get pregnant?

We've been trying for over a year now. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and I believe today I was basically told I have more cysts then they one I had 3 years ago. My doctor put me on provera to get a regular period and then prescribed me birth control pills to help with the pain and to keep my regular cycle going. Did taking provera and birth control regulate your cycle and help you conceive?

Not pregnant yet, but my doctor did prescribe me Provera to jumpstart my cycles. She also had me take a supplement called ovasitol. It works like metformin but it's all natural. It helped me reduce my PCOS symptoms and decreased my cysts. My cycles are still wonky. Though I did have 3 cycles on my own this year. The others were from Provera.
Now I'm on metformin, I requested it because I felt like I need more of a push to help get pregnant. I'm on my last Provera pill and will start Clomid once AF arrives.

Ask your doc about Ovasitol or Pregnitude (another supplement). They might help you.
