I could really use some insight on what might be going on. I have a doctor's appointment for a check up/bc/std test early in October, but I want to hear opinions on what might be going on. I had a uti and treated it, but got a yeast infection as a result of the antibiotic. I took monostat for the yeast infection and everything cleared up. The discharge, itching, etc stopped. Now the past couple days, I've been itching sort of. It's more pain at my vagina opening. It feels kind of like someone is trying to put it in without lube. What could this be? Does it mean the yeast infection treatment didn't work fully and I should do it again? This is my first uti and yeast infection.
