Fertility issue or bad timing??

Hello lovely ladies!!! I am wanting opinions..We've been trying for 3 years with no luck, but some weeks we only baby dance once or twice a week if that and this is my first month actually logging and calculating my periods. I have never used ovulation tests or anything we are just kinda shooting for a bullseye in the dark. Is this just bad timing or can there be a possible underlying fertility issue going on here? Has anyone else been in situation and conceived naturally but it just took longer? (FYI I do plan to schedule a gynecologist visit soon) Thanks in advance for all the responses and **Baby dust to ALL!!**

Definitely check with a fertility specialist, they are different from OBGYN

I would personally hold off on the fertility specialist, I would start using opks and having sex in ur fertile week and the day u ovulate. I would also temp aswell and check ur signs for healthy ovulating. Then I would work out cycles every month (I have 28-30 day cycles with a leutal phase of 13) once u start really trying will u know that there is an issue, I would also suggest getting ur hubby to have a semen analysis done, it can take healthy couples up to a year to conceive and that's with tracking, it's all about it being at the right time. I would stick with making that appointment. Even with bad timing, if sex is unprotected it's pretty rare to go two years, let alone 3, without hitting the bullseye at least once. Baby dust!
